Baseball Recap: Southeast Guilford Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Southeast Guilford won against Western Guilford last Friday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Falcons beat the Northwest Guilford Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-2. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered an 8-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Southeast Guilford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Northwest Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Southeast Guilford will take on Ledford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest Guilford will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' game: after the Falcons faces off against the Panthers, they'll take on Northwest Guilford again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
