Trimble County is 0-10 against the Rebels since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trimble County Raiders will head out on the road to square off against the Owen County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. Trimble County is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Trimble County proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 30) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Gallatin County 45-43.
Meanwhile, Owen County was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past the Warriors 50-16 on the road. The victory was just what Owen County needed coming off of a 60-27 defeat in their prior game.
Trimble County pushed their record up to 11-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Owen County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.
Trimble County came up short against the Rebels in their previous matchup back in January, falling 46-39. Can Trimble County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
