Hawkins was the clear victor by a 68-48 margin over Dymally. The result was nothing new for Hawkins, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Dymally's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amonte Mobley, who scored 17 points. Mobley scored a full 35.4% of Dymally's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyzear Hamby, who scored 13 points.
The win got Hawkins back to even at 5-5. As for Dymally, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawkins will take on Jordan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three games. As for Dymally, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Locke at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Locke presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dymally in California (Locke is ranked 436th, while Dymally is ranked 1299th).
