It was a good run, but Collegiate unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 9-6 to the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Collegiate will welcome Life Christian Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games. St. Anne's-Belfield will be paying especially close attention to Collegiate's contest: after Collegiate faces off against Life Christian Academy, they'll take on St. Anne's-Belfield again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
