After flying high against the Covenant School of Jacksonville Warriors on Friday, the Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders came back down to earth. Old Plank Christian Academy took a serious blow against Keystone Heights on Monday, falling 77-40.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keystone Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andru Seimur, who scored 12 points. Garrison Teague was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Old Plank Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Keystone Heights, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Old Plank Christian Academy will take on Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Keystone Heights, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort White at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Fort White's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
