The Los Osos Grizzlies will head out on the road to face off against the St. Lucy's Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Los Osos will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Upland came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Los Osos, but Chloe Taylor wouldn't allow it. The Grizzlies put the hurt on the Highlanders/Scots with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from Taylor, who had eight kills, eight digs, two blocks, and two aces. She has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times she's played.
Los Osos never let Upland on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-9.
Los Osos' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla Scott, who had five digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Annaly Landeros, who had 14 digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, St. Lucy's came up short against Chino Hills on Thursday and fell 3-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 22-25, 25-15, 25-21.
Los Osos will need to focus on slowing down Mya Moshrefi, one of several St. Lucy's players who made an impact when they last played. She had 24 digs.
Los Osos' victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for St. Lucy's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Los Osos skirted past St. Lucy's 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
