Bad Axe had lost 14 straight at home dating back to last season, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 0-17 to make it 15. They came up short against  the Caro Tigers, falling  22-0. As for Caro,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 20-15-1. With that  victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.4  runs per game.
On Caro's side,  Wyatt Waterman was a  major factor no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  Waterman posted two  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Caro got a  massive  performance out of  Trentin Hessling, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  Hessling has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Olyver Downing, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs and three  RBI.
 Bad Axe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Caro, they will face off against Cass City at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Red Hawks will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
