The Deerfield Beach Bucks pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-57 to Coral Glades. Deerfield Beach was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coral Glades apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.
Coral Glades' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Donovan Swain, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Burrowes, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 19 rebounds.
Deerfield Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Coral Glades, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Deerfield Beach will square off against Northeast at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Northeast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three contests. As for Coral Glades, they will be playing at home against Fort Lauderdale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
