The Southington Blue Knights will head out on the road to  square off against  the South Windsor Bobcats at 6:45  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hopefully Southington is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank  in Connecticut (they are ranked 32nd, while South Windsor is ranked 98th).
 Southington unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a  55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northwest Catholic.
  Lily Cooper put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  scored 17 points along with five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Blanchard, who  scored 11 points along with five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, South Windsor came up short against Enfield on Monday and fell  54-42. South Windsor has struggled against Enfield recently, as their  game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 Southington's record now sits at 10-9. South Windsor's record now sits at 8-11.
 Southington was able to grind out a solid  victory over South Windsor when the teams last played  back in December of 2021, winning  54-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southington since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
