There's no place like home for Southern, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Federal Hocking Lancers on Friday. Considering the Tornadoes have won 14 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Southern's record is now 16-4. As for Federal Hocking, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Southern will welcome Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Federal Hocking, they will square off against Trimble at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers are facing the Tomcats at the right time seeing as the Tomcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
