Sumiton Christian not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 10th. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Winston County Yellowjackets. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sumiton Christian's victory bumped their record up to 20-13. As for Winston County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Sumiton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against American Christian Academy on the 11th. As for Winston County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Cold Springs on the 15th.
