Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bellaire

Bellaire lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Forest Area, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Warriors on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Jayden Hanson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Tyler Schumaker was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Colin Bearup was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Bellaire was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Bellaire's record now sits at 3-0. As for Forest Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
