They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over the Hemet Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Bison sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Janessa Guigliano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Yasmine Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cameryn Rutkoff, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.
