The Bishop Foley Ventures will challenge the Notre Dame Academy Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Notre Dame Academy will be up against a hot Bishop Foley team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Ventures put the hurt on University Liggett with a sharp 15-4 victory on Wednesday.

Sasha Walker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, nine RBI, and one triple while going 3-for-4. Those nine RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Abbey Jones and Leah Rovner did most of the damage at the plate: Jones went 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI, while Rovner went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Rovner is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Sofie Barnes also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Bishop Foley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.4.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame Academy made easy work of University Liggett on Tuesday and carried off a 17-6 win. The Eagles have beaten the Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.
Layla Clouse was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Camdyn Escobar was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Bishop Foley's record is now 8-3. As for Notre Dame Academy, their record now sits at 13-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bishop Foley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Notre Dame Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bishop Foley couldn't quite get it done against Notre Dame Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 as they fell 6-3. Can the Ventures avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
