The North Callaway Thunderbirds waltzed into their matchup Saturday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 58-45 victory over Paris. This was payback for North Callaway, who suffered a 34-27 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Callaway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natalie Shryock, who scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Riley Blevins, who scored 11 points along with eight assists and five steals.
North Callaway's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Paris, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
North Callaway will be home for the holidays to greet Montgomery County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery County will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Paris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
