Electra is 10-0 against the Eagles since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Electra Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chillicothe Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Electra unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 98-77 loss at the hands of Benjamin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (58), Electra still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Chillicothe's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in January after their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by Benjamin on the road and fell 83-22. While losing is never fun, Chillicothe can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1655th, while the Mustangs are ranked 366th).
Electra's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-5. As for Chillicothe, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Electra against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 83-9 win. Does Electra have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
