The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 62-18 win over Mt. Pleasant at home. Winning may never get old, but Mount St. Charles Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Leading Mount St. Charles Academy to victory were Anna Dziun and Addison Johnson. Dziun scored seven points along with seven steals and five assists, while Johnson scored 15 points along with five assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Addie Stojanowski, who scored six points along with five assists.
Mount St. Charles Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Mt. Pleasant, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Mount St. Charles Academy will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will be playing at home against Woonsocket at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woonsocket is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
