Logan/Palco hasn't had much luck against Northern Valley recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. Logan/Palco will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northern Valley Huskies  at 7:30  p.m. Logan/Palco will be coming into the  contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Last Friday, Logan/Palco didn't have too much breathing room in their  match against Weskan, but they still walked away with a  62-56 victory.
Logan/Palco got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Rhett Kats out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 23  points and ten  boards. That makes it ten consecutive games in which  Kats has scored at least a third of Logan/Palco's points.  Caleb Sparks was another key player,  going 8 for 11  on his way to 18 points.
 Logan/Palco was working as a unit and  finished the game with 14  assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  assist total in three consecutive  games.
Meanwhile, Northern Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat. They fell  48-37 to Wheatland-Grinnell. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Thunderhawks  18-12 in the first  quarter.
 Logan/Palco will have to keep a close watch on  Griffin McKinney and  Tait Thalheim, a pair of players who had a big impact on Northern Valley's prior game. McKinney  posted seven  points and 13  rebounds, while  Thalheim  put up 15 points. That was a full 40.5% of Northern Valley's points, marking the third time in a row he's   scored  more than a third of the team's points.
 Logan/Palco's victory was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Northern Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
