Basketball Recap: Chillicothe's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

It was a good run, but Chillicothe unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (47-45), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Despite the loss, Chillicothe still got an impressive performance from Jaishon White, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. White's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Sol'Jier Allen was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Chillicothe's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Central, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Chillicothe and Brookfield will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Chillicothe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season. As for Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hogan Prep Charter at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Central is facing Hogan Prep Charter at the right time seeing as Hogan Prep Charter is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
