Hennessey will challenge Oklahoma Centennial on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Hennessey will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Hennessey were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against Oklahoma Christian last Thursday. Hennessey fell to Oklahoma Christian 33-40. Hennessey got a solid performance out of junior Treyson Dunigan, who rushed for 182 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Dunigan has now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Oklahoma Centennial, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-42 to Chisholm. The state rankings had actually given Oklahoma Centennial a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
