Volleyball Recap: Mckinney Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kaylee Mcreynolds and Madison Head

It was a good run, but McKinney unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Westlake Chaparrals by a score of 2-1.

McKinney's loss came despite strong showings from Madison Head and Kaylee McReynolds. Head had eight digs, while McReynolds had seven digs and three assists. Paxton Adams also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Westlake was led to victory by Kaitlyn Tse and Kyrksen Cook. Tse had eight digs and two assists, while Cook had 16 assists. Cook has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times she's played.

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westlake, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

McKinney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Floresville on the 16th. As for Westlake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Summer Creek on the 16th.
