This season hasn't been kind to the Amplus Academy Archers, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They took a 21-7 bruising from Eldorado on Friday.
Several Archers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Naia Youngblood, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and eight steals.
Sara Torrico Lopez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Eldorado, scoring 12 points. Elisa Flores was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Amplus Academy bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road. As for Eldorado, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.
Amplus Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonanza at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Bonanza is ranked 87th, while Amplus Academy is ranked 110th).
