Tioga (Tioga Center, N.Y.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Sidney (N.Y.), 31-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Ryan Vergason to
Josh Kithcart in the first quarter, the Tigers led 21-0 at the half.
Tioga grew its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. THS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Vergason.
With the win the Tioga Center school extended its winning streak to eight games.
The Tigers went into the matchup giving up only 8.0 points per game. Sidney's zero points were well below their season average of 33.0 per game.
