While Tombstone put up plenty of  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for San Miguel. The Yellow Jackets blew past the Vipers 15-0. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won nine contests by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kelly Bliss was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those  ten  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 In other batting news, Tombstone let  Erik Koehler and  Trey Franklin run wild. Koehler  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Franklin  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Dorcy, who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Tombstone  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. They are undefeated (9-0) when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Tombstone pushed their record up to 13-5-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for San Miguel,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tombstone will welcome Phoenix Christian  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Yellow Jackets 3.5, the Cougars 1.9) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for San Miguel, they will be playing at home against St. Augustine Catholic  at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday.
