After two games on the road, Dora is heading back home. They will take on the Priceville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dora has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 299 points over their last six matches.
Dora put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past St. Clair County 47-27. 47 seems to be a good number for Dora as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dora to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colby Key, who threw for 312 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt. Jayden Griffin was another key contributor, gaining 143 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Priceville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their third straight loss. They took a 28-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Randolph School.
Despite the defeat, Priceville got a solid performance out of Blitz Clemons, who rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
Dora's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-10 Hamilton and 1-10 Hamilton (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 23.6% over those games). As for Priceville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Dora has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 225.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Priceville struggles in that department as they've been even better at 278.4 per game. It's looking like Friday's contest might have some serious battles in the trenches.
