Mikey Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with nine assists and seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Jayden Clark, who scored 27 points.
Spring Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clay Robertson, who scored 25 points along with four blocks and two steals. That's the first time this season that Robertson posted two or more blocks. Tate Adkins was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Huntington is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Spring Valley, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.
