Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crandall). They blew past the Terrell Tigers, posting a 73-41 victory. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Tigers are ranked 648th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Terrell lost, don't look at Aubree Tate. Despite the final result, she posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Markeita Shaw, who put up six points.

Crandall pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Terrell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Crandall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-27 defeat against Midlothian Heritage on the 20th. As for Terrell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-44 victory against Ennis on the 20th.
