Softball Recap: Medway Has No Trouble Against Millis

After losing to Millis the last time they met, Medway decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Mohawks on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Ally Fagan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits.

On the hitting side, Alessandra Cautilli was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Priya Bedard, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Medway's record now sits at 10-8. As for Millis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Medway wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-4 loss against Millbury on the 23rd. As for Millis, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 defeat against West Boylston on the 23rd.
