The Springport Spartans''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 28-7 margin over East Jackson. This was payback for Springport, who suffered a 60-38 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, East Jackson still got an impressive performance from Caleb Weaver, who rushed for 91 yards, and also picked up 31 receiving yards.
Springport's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for East Jackson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
