It was a proper cat-fight when Red Lion duked it out with William Penn on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bearcats a 21-0 shutout. The contest marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Red Lion and bumps their season record up to 8-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for William Penn, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Red Lion will venture away from home to take on Spring Grove at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for William Penn, they will head out to face off against York Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Bearcats are facing the Fighting Irish at the right time seeing as the Fighting Irish are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
