Lamar has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. The Lamar Raiders and the Nanih Waiya Warriors will round out the year against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Lamar came up short against Starkville Academy and fell 49-37.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jonathan Hart, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Zion Huggins was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Nanih Waiya suffered a rough 60-38 loss at the hands of Morton on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nanih Waiya has scored all season.
Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Nanih Waiya, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
