The biggest upset of the week belonged to Prentiss Christian, who took down 286th ranked Prentiss Christian, 40-14.
Newton County Academy led MAIS A District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Ben's Ford Christian. Tanner Smith threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Newton County Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Generals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Smith has thrown for 859 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Joseph Little has 13 catches for 340 yards. Zack Meeks leads the league in rushing with 668 yards.
Porter's Chapel Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,503 from 13,783. The improvement was the result of 40-14 victory over the Saints last week.
