It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Franklin Hornets can now relate to. They were dealt a 58-12 defeat at the hands of Logansport on Friday. The low total for Franklin limited their streak of high-flying scores to three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logansport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Steven Holloway, who threw for 296 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Jukadynn Carter, who rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Franklin has yet to win a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 6-6 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.3 points per game. As for Logansport, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Logansport will take on Welsh at TBD on Friday. Welsh is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
