ABF Academy had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Sebastian Paez did his part to make it seven on Saturday. The ABF Academy Cowboys strolled past the Central Pointe Christian Academy CPCA with points to spare, taking the game 67-50 thanks in part to Paez, who posted 27 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

David Ortiz was another key player, putting up nine points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

ABF Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. ABF Academy will head out to face off against Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Pointe Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Excel Christian Academy at 8:30 a.m. on January 18th.
