Cash Pomeroy and Co. Win 20th in a Row
Cash Pomeroy's big game helped extend Marionville's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Pomeroy wasn't messing around, rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per carry. The game was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Marionville pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Pomeroy and Marionville will welcome Sarcoxie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Guerin As Marionville Won 36-12
Bryer Guerin's big game helped extend Marionville's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Guerin was unstoppable, rushing for 36 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 165 yards and a touchdown on only 15 passes.
Unfortunately for Pierce City, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Guerin. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Guerin saw the Eagles), he threw for 162 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 67 yards on only six carries.

A Season-Best Performance from Nate Hill Leads Miller over Sarcoxie
On Friday, Miller had to settle for second even though Nate Hill put up the best numbers he has all season. Hill threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score.
Miller's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cardinals takes on Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caden Calvin Makes It Two for Miller
Keeping Hill company is Caden Calvin, a fellow Miller player. He picked up 55 receiving yards.
Sarcoxie's probably not too fond of Calvin given he always seems to get the better of them. Calvin rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards the last time he and the Bears duked it out back in September of 2023.
