The Blue Ridge Christian Bears put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 41-8 victory over Christian Heritage Academy. Blue Ridge Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Callie Paradzinski, who scored nine points along with three steals. Paradzinski is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Buczynski, who scored 11 points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Christian Heritage Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Blue Ridge Christian racked up ten assists.
Blue Ridge Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge Christian on the road again on Thursday and play against Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Grace Christian: 24.8, Blue Ridge Christian: 23) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Christian Heritage Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dayspring Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Christian Heritage Academy in Virginia (Dayspring Christian Academy is ranked 159th, while Christian Heritage Academy is ranked 382nd).
