Piper is 4-0 against Northeast since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Piper Bengals will host the Northeast Hurricanes at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Piper has five straight victories, Northeast has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Piper's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Stranahan. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Stranahan with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Allyson Knowles, Melody Delamotte, Lauren Gentles, and Avani Medina.

Meanwhile, Northeast fell victim to Pembroke Pines Charter and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Jaguars, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 56th).

Piper pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five games. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

Everything went Piper's way against Northeast in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as Piper made off with a 6-1 victory. Does Piper have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northeast turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
