Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Forney Jackrabbits walked away with it. They breezed by Port Arthur Memorial on the road to the tune of 44-7. Winning may never get old, but Forney sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Forney found their leader in underclassman Javian Osborne, who rushed for 202 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Osborne has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kyle Crawford, who threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns.
Forney's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-3.
Forney will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lone Star at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Lone Star has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 437 points over their last 11 games. Port Arthur Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
