They took a 83-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bible Baptist Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (63), Faith Baptist Christian Academy still had to take the loss.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aidan Massey, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Massey has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times he's played. RJ Legette was another key contributor, dropping a triple-double on 14 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists.
Alex Forbes was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with six assists and six rebounds for Bible Baptist Christian. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Forbes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Samuel Rahming, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy will take on the Soldiers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against the Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Byne Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
