On Thursday, things could have been worse for Plainview, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-48 loss to Casady. Plainview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Casady to victory were Bryson Buckingham and Kaden Leache. Buckingham scored 25 points, while Leache scored 19 points along with 9 assists and 4 steals. The game was Buckingham's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Payton Mitchell-johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Casady, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Plainview will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Crossover Prep at 11:35 a.m. on December 9th. As for Casady, they will square off against Community Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
