They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cedar Grove 57-23 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Creekside Christian Academy as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Leading Creekside Christian Academy to victory were Jai Holt and Kyra Ware. Holt scored 16 points along with three steals, while Ware scored 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Ware hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Laila Placide was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Creekside Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Cedar Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Creekside Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Konos Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Cougars are ranked 118th). As for Cedar Grove, they will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Carver's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Saints have been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
