This season hasn't been kind to the Piggott Mohawks, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Harrisburg an easy 62-42 win. Piggott was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harrisburg apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Harrisburg can attribute much of their success to Axel Heeb, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jakobe Tate, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Piggott's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Harrisburg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piggott won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rivercrest on December 20th. Rivercrest knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Piggott likes a good challenge. As for Harrisburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Cross County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cross County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
