The Westosha Central Falcons will square off against the Waterford Wolverines at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Westosha Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past Wilmot 15-3 on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.

 Megan Lampos was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Mykenna Sturino was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Abby Plapp, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 Westosha Central  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .576. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Waterford entered their tilt with Badger on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Badgers  a   6-0 shutout.
Like Westosha Central, Waterford also got a great game from a two-way player:  Jaydin Kiser. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance,  Kiser is now averaging an impressive 6.8  strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Kiser wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Cailyn Kysely, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.  Kendall Evjen also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Westosha Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Waterford, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Wednesday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Westosha Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Waterford struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .337. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Westosha Central took their  victory against Waterford  in their previous matchup  last Tuesday by a conclusive  9-0 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success,  or do  the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
