One missed two-point conversions cost
Middletown (Ohio) as it fell 27-26 to
Oak Hills (Cincinnati, Ohio).
After taking the lead on a
Jalin Marshall touchdown run, the Middies went into halftime with a 26-14 lead. The Highlanders scored the winning points with a touchdown that came in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring six points in the third, Oak Hills still trailed by 6 points going into the fourth quarter. But seven points in the fourth helped OH pull out the victory.
The Cincinnati school didn't take the lead for good until the the fourth quarter when it scored a touchdown.
Middletown's Marshall played well. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which MHS took, 46-13.
Middletown (2-4) goes up against Colerain in a Greater Miami game matchup next week, while Oak Hills (4-2) locks horns with Lakota West also in a Greater Miami game.
