Basketball Recap: All Saints Episcopal School's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but All Saints Episcopal School unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 65-51 to the Olton Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 705th, while the Mustangs are ranked 279th).

All Saints Episcopal School's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Olton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. All Saints Episcopal School will be home for the holidays to greet Sands on Tuesday. Olton and Plains will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Plains likes a good challenge.
