Austin Eickstead put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Eickstead's strong effort led Lutheran over San Marcos Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
