USA Today/MaxPreps National Player of the Week
In a battle of Fort Wayne, Ind., rivals, super sophomore DeShaun Thomas poured in a season-high 43 points to go along with 12 rebounds as Bishop Luers knocked Wayne High School Saturday night, 93-81.
The 6-foot-7 Thomas, regarded by CSTV as the No. 2 overall prospect in the Class of 2010, connected on seven three-point attempts and added four blocks, three assists and two steals.
For the season, Thomas is averaging over 31 points and 13 rebounds per game for the 8-2 Knights.
