Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Shoals

Shoals extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Hadley Haulk. The Jug Rox came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lanesville Eagles for which the team can thank Haulk, who had 23 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Shoals got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 19-25, 16-14.

Shoals' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lanesville, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.

Coming up, Shoals will be playing at home against North Knox at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lanesville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Cannelton on the 25th.
