They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 71-68 victory over Louisville Saints HomeSchool. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Evansville HomeSchool considering their 22-point performance the match before.
Despite the defeat, Louisville Saints HomeSchool saw an underclassman step up: Savannah McCartney dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McCartney has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Simmon, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Evansville HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Louisville Saints HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Evansville HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Louisville Saints HomeSchool will be playing at home against the at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
