Glastonbury extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut I East this week by beating East Hartford, 56-26. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Glastonbury took down the Hornets 56-26 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Newington's Jake Hedberg and Kyle Armour have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hedberg has thrown for 1,487 yards this season, while Armour has 43 catches for 540 yards. South Windsor's James Nyarko leads the league in rushing yards with 743.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Glastonbury takes on second place Manchester.
